    Happy holidays

I had a great Christmas. We were at my aunt's which is out on the country so we had so much snow. oh yeah
It wasn't a special or wild Christmas, but it was nice. And I got some great gifts. Among others:
    - about 140$
    - Eksil by Jakob Ejersbo
    - a new mirror
    - giftcard to Matas
    - fake gucci bag lol

and some other small things. Great gifts :D still haven't got the stuff from my dad and boyfran though.

I love christmas. I'm not christian, i'm an atheist, but for me it's tradition and it has nothing to do with jesus. It's about getting the family together, having a nice time and showing that we care for each other.
And the food is to die for.

Today and yesterday I visited Dennis' family at his mothers house. I got to meet his dad (his parents are divorced but they celebrate christmas together) and big sister for the first time. They're all so kind and down to earth so I felt really comfortable and welcome.
This morning we watched Harry Potter 6 and I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED D---: ok maybe I would have liked it more if I had gotten really into it, instead of talking a lot throughout the movie, but still. It didn't even include Dumbledore's funeral wtf.

I just got home about an hour ago and now I'm desperately craving chocolate. ugh, I've gained 3kg lately. I blame my bc pills, but it's probably just because I'm gross and lazy. Whatever, gonna lose them in january.

Gonna stop writing now, so this won't get too long. Tomorrow my mom and I was supposed to go shopping in Malmö, but we just realized it's sunday tomorrow, so we'll probably go watch The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus instead.

I hope all of you who celebrates Christmas had a great one ~

    Inventur erfolgreich abgeschlossen °_°

    Hi guys ~
Again, sorry I haven't really been commenting and stuff, I've been busy all the time lately.

Yesterday, I had a sleep-over with Andrea. It was great, we watched Twin Peaks, ate cookie dough and talked about ~girly stuff~ (sex and boobs and guys) all night.
This morning we made pancakes and then went christmas present shopping.
    Good times.

I took this picture this morning, from Andrea's balcony. She lives just by The Lakes (søerne), my dream place to live here in Copenhagen. JEALOUS

I'm so happy it's snowing all the time. So christmas-y and nice. I'm so excited about the chance of a real white christmas this year.
Speaking of christmas, wtf do I buy my dad? ugh, I'm so lost.
    Ideas?

Gonna go to bed now, so I can get up early tomorrow. I don't want to waste my vacation, so tomorrow my plans are:
    - Finish that hoodie I began sewing a couple of months ago
    - Start studying for my physical geography exam
    - Drive my bike down to the ocean to get some fresh air and a little exercise (ok there's like 800m, it's not as wild as it sounds lol)
    - Work
    - Pub crawl on the occasion of my friend turning 18

    Goodnight

Oh, and the malk de koijn concert last friday was wickeddddd sick. LOVE

Has anyone noticed that the ads on LJ are getting worse? Instead of staying in the designated sidebar, they expand and take up half the page. There's a Chevy ad right now that despite having an "x" box, will not close and is currently covering nearly half of the space that I'm typing in.

What's worse are the INCREDIBLY OBNOXIOUS Best Buy ads that automatically expand into a video. Now, most of you have large screens, and the monitor for my PC has an abnormally large resolution, but I'm on a 10' laptop most of the time. The ad is so huge that it covers my entire screen, and the only way to close it is by refreshing the page because it prevents me from scrolling down to find the close button.

I guess because most people have popup blockers, companies have to find a way to spam the page we're already on. Lame. Do you hear me Best Buy? You are laaaaaaaame.

Did this a few days ago. ugh I need to start drawing more.
While drawing it I was looking at this.

As some of may know, I was planning on going to Japan this summer with my dad. Well, I've cancelled those plans. No, actually not cancelled, I've just deferred them.
idk travelling around Japan has been a dream of mine for SO LONG, and I still want to do it someday soon, but there are just so many things I would rather do this summer. I love to hang out with my dad and I really want to travel around the world with him, but not this year.
This year, the thing I really want to do, is to grab my backpack and sleeping bag and hit the road. A mixture of hitch-hiking, bus rides and inter-rail around Europe with some friends. No schedule, no set plans, just doing whatever we want to, meeting people from all over the world. (how cliché am I). I've wanted to do this for so long, and this year I feel like I should realize it. I can't wait (:

So yeah, Japan, c ya zum other time k. Probably the summer of 2011.

Anyway, today was the last day of school before the Christmas holidays. Yessssssss.

Tuesday I went to the Gogol Bordello open air concert. They were even more amazing than Roskilde 09 :---D After the concert, Katalin, Dennis (who's in Copenhagen during the COP15 ♥) and I hit the city. We went to L.A. Bar, which was so much fun. If you're in Copenhagen and haven't been there, then go go go. Cheap beer and tequila shots, open all week and lots of people on a tuesday night, what more to ask for?

    I'm lovin' it
    These, to be specific:

    Photobucket

Black leather over-the-knee boots by Chinese Laundry.
    Photobucket

OTK or thigh-high boots are a huge part of A/W gal fashion, as they have been for years. I actually have a pair of black thigh-high boots, but they have a 4 1/2 in heel, and I don't see myself wearing them to class anytime soon. xDD
    Photobucket
My only problem with them is the sole; it's comparable to that of a ballerina flat. It's also lacks a tread, so it's easy to slip around in them... even on dry land. I was rushing to meet a friend and ended up falling on my ass while crossing the street in them. xDD It was dry that day, mind you.
I bought sticky treads for them, so it's not an issue anymore.
